Guestbook

Welcome — glad you made it. This guestbook is a throwback to the early web, when GeoCities pages and personal homepages asked you to stop, sign your name, and leave a note before moving on. It’s also a nod to cabin logs and trail registers — the kind you find tucked on a shelf or nailed to a post, where traveling souls leave a mark to say I was here.

Entries are moderated and filtered for spam, so they won’t appear right away. If you want a reply, you can leave an email address — it won’t be published, added to any list, or used for anything beyond answering you. No algorithms, no feeds. Just a quiet record of real people passing through.

Here’s to the road unpaved – Doug

Today I found your website as I was searching for info on the 6.4L Hemi Gladiator, which I understand is coming soon. Love this site! The content is SO GOOD, and nice photos too. I just finished the article about Solo Overlanding and that's the thing that made me sign up for the newsletter. Thanks for this excellent resource! I look forward to keeping in touch! Old soul. New subscriber. I miss the days when the internet felt smaller and more personal. This brings that back for a minute. Thanks for leaving the light on and doing this work. Saving me a hours.

Passed through digitally tonight. Just a 1-nighter in the Cohutta. We haven’t been on a full weekend in a while, but reading this made me feel like getting it on the calendar. Thanks.

Jeep guy. Weekend wanderer. Not every trip needs a destination, but it helps to know someone else is out there thinking about the same roads.

Scrolling late, coffee cold, maps open. This felt like signing a cabin log more than a website. Leaving my name here before heading west in a few weeks.

Found this while planning a short loop through North Alabama and Southern Tennessee. Funny how you can be looking for routes and end up finding a reminder to slow down instead. Appreciate the quiet corners of the internet still existing.

Welcome! This register marks the beginning of something old brought back on purpose. If you’re reading this, a road — literal or otherwise — brought you here. That’s reason enough to sign. Leave a note. Say where you’re from. Tell us what rig you’re running, what post you found, or what stretch of road you’re thinking about next. This isn’t a comment section. It’s a record of real people passing through. Here’s to the road unpaved.
